Midsegment

Pronunciation: /ˈmɪdˌsɛg.mənt/ Explain

A midsegment of a triangle is a line segment joining the midpoints of two of sides of the triangle. Since every triangle has three sides, each triangle has three midsegments. A midsegment is parallel to the third side, and is half the length of the third side.
